Comissioner Gordon drives the batmobile. All the clips of Gordon driving the Batmobile from Batman Begins.
Easily the best part of this movie is Rorschach's actor. My guy fucking NAILED it.
3:05 "DO IIIIIIT!!!!" "NOOOOOOO!!!!"
"I can change almost anything, but I can't change human nature." --Dr Manhatten to Rorschach
It's so sad that Steve Jobs died of Ligma
I love the change of Nite Owl being there. The One and Only friend Rorschach had.
The only good Film besides 300 that Zack Snyder made.
I see what makes Humanity clap. Try as you may, the Truth can't die.
Most powerful scene in any superhero movie
Really
Why is there no Watchmen game 😐
The way he goes from an almost fearful, devastated "do it," to rage and hatred "DO IT." Fantastic acting.
"its so sad that steve jobs died" "Who the hell is Steve Jobs?" "ligma balls" *_fucking dies_*
Rorschach is completely correct. He tried to warn Dr Manhattan at the beginning of the story but was brushed aside, resulting in the events of the film. He is right to try to expose the lies as well, which arguably he succeeds at in the end via his journal.
Unfortunately it didn’t change much aside from turning the world against Adrian. At least going off Doomsday Clock comic.
And Rorscach Still wins in the end by letting his journel published. Legend
He died remaining faithful to his convictions, despite the profound injustice he had to bear head-on. In his last moments, he probably thought: *If I had to do it again, I would do it again without hesitation*
I want to see a justice league vs dr Manhattan in the big screen man that will go crazy
3:07 When you ask who Steve Jobs is and all you get is "LIGMA BALLS."
2:59 did you notice owl crying sound.
i did not expect manhattan to sound like that
“Of course you must protect Veidt’s new utopia. What’s one more body against foundations?” Dang.
Well he knew as soon as Jon stopped him what was going to happen.
All of you people trying to pay respect to Rorschach for refusing to compromise. Most of you play your values cheap every day. This kind of dedication is rare. People sacrifice for family, country, god, or money on the regular. I doubt most any story i hear where someone tells me they sacrificed something on the altar of right vs wrong.
How many did they catch ya know ;(
Are you mad?
So another guided start…. And the origin is how old
1:10 I actually got a license for stick while I got my driver's license becauese of this scene
Rorschach wouldn't have eaten grilled cheese off the radiator
Gordon is the one who saved Gotham that time. Not Batman.
What would the exposure context do if I could control my phones ai
Yeah that peace didn't last long doomsday clock shows the aftermath
I never liked how context was changed in this scene. In the comics Adrian's response to Rorschach is that nobody trusts him anyway so he just decides to go mediate on things to prepare for whatever comes next. In the movie he basically orders Manhattan to kill Rorschach. The reason Dan isn't there in the comics is because he isn't even expecting it to happen. They all just let Rorschach leave and carry on with the exception of Manhattan. I also much prefer Manhattan's goodbye to Ozymandias from the comic too "Nothing ever ends." is such a powerful statement and I like that the book doesn't end with Ozymandias getting beaten up or punched. That was never really the point of the story.
Fair point, but Rorschach was still a loose end, Adrian being so calculate in the whole comic doesn't fit with leaving loose ends. And while i agree the final dr Manhattan quote is fantastic i also agree that Dan in the comic still considered Rorschach his friend and would have at least got a bit mad
Rorschach, through his own desire for self-righteousness, doomed humanity when he sent his journal to be published.
3:07 Discord mods banning the funniest user from the server
Literal hobo beats a literal God in morality and dies for it
The ‘Don’t even think about it.’ was devastating. To know someone’s fate beforehand with nothing you can do to stop it. That’s awful. And Manhattan knew that with the subtle changes his face made. As is to say, ‘I wasn- no you’re right. I’ll do what I know I have to do.’
This guy was Rorschach. Seems straight out of the comic although a bit stronger than Rorschach is in there.
And nobody thinks of having manhattan vanish all the nukes.
Get wasted feel every memory output permission dr manhattan creation
A faithful adaptation of an incredible graphic novel
"Can you drive stick?" "No." DIRECTED BY CHRISTOPHER NOLAN.
whos ligma
The what's one more body amongst the foundation line is the best line in a movie ever.
This is how it is for me at family get togethers.
It’s such a shame Steve jobs died from ligma
Who's Steve Jobs?
ligma balls
No Wonder Owlman becomes so damn cold and calculated
That right there is pretty much all i ask for anymore.
Note: Dr Manhattan died on the way to his home planet
omg Dr manhattan scks dck
Still by far my favorite comic book movie by a large margin
Why did he hesitate to kill him?
Because he didn’t want to kill him.
"you taught me the value of life" proceeds to kill Rorschach
